Meet our Professional Staff

David Belletrutti, PGA of Canada Head Golf Professional
dbelletrutti@nhgcc.ca
David has been a member of the PGA of Canada for 18 years.  He was born in Sarnia Ontario, and spent his childhood honing his game at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club.  After spending a couple years in Calgary in his early teens, his family settled in Ottawa where David spent his high school years golfing at Kanata Golf and Country Club.  He went on to graduate from the Golf Management Program at Humber College, and then earned his Bachelor of Commerce at Ryerson University.  David most recently was the Director of Operations at Blue Springs Golf Club from 2014-2017, and is in his first season as Head Golf Professional at The Club at North Halton.
David is an experienced instructor, and takes pride in helping golfers find ways to save strokes on the golf course.  It’s hard to enjoy golf if you aren’t playing well, so he teaches golf in a way that simplifies the game and allows you to enjoy it no matter what your skill level is.  He is also an accomplished golfer, and enjoys spending time with the members on the golf course.  Don’t be afraid to stop by and ask for a game, he is always willing to participate.
David is married with three kids and enjoys having the family out to the club when time permits.  It’s never too early to teach the kids to follow in Dad’s footsteps, so you may see him on the range with the young ones
