Meet our Professional Staff




Cory McLaughlin PGA of Canada Associate Professional

Cory started out working in the back shop where he spent 4 years. From there he moved into the role of back shop manager for a season before moving in to the pro shop full time.  Cory also assumes the role of the Club’s Curling Manager and Head Ice Technician during the winter months.

He earned his PGA of Canada card in the summer of 2009 and has since completed his Teaching and Coaching Certification Program – Instructor/Beginner & Instructor/Intermediate. Cory attained his “Class A Certification” from the PGA of Canada in 2015. Cory is also a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Humber College where he earned honours status.


Matt Tindale, PGA of Canada Assistant Professional

Matt has been in the golf industry for 10+ years and a PGA of Canada Professional since 2012. He has been with us for 2 years now. His previous work experience has seen him at courses in Ontario as well as Vancouver Island. Matt has completed his National Coaching Certification Program- Instructor/Beginner and Instructor/Intermediate. Matt had a successful junior and amateur playing career and went on to graduate from Fanshawe College with a Marketing Diploma and Camosun College with the Professional Golf Management. Matt's passion is teaching, he enjoys teaching all different skill levels but focuses his time on Junior Golf Development.

Joey Chua, PGA of Canada CFM

Joey joined our team last year and will be taking over the merchandise manager role.  Before Joey joined our team he was the also the merchandise manager at Turnberry Golf Club in Brampton from 2010-2016.  He also was the lead on the golf operations side managing the proshop and backshop duties.  Not only is Joey well versed in the golf industry but has a very successful amateur career.  He will be joining the PGA of Canada and will strive to deliver exceptional service to our club and our members.  Joey, his wife Gayle and three children reside in Acton.
